How will others know which patch I hold?

Only you will know.

Patch requirements

The bench press must meet these requirements:

  • Single rep to full lockout

  • controlled descent to chest

  • no bounce off the chest

  • With a spotter for safety

The footrace only has one requirement:

  • Finish the race

The 24-Hour Window

You have 24 consecutive hours to complete both. The order is your choice. Plan accordingly.

Complete the bench — Takes minutes. Requires preparation, warm-up, and a spotter.

Complete the race — Takes hours. Requires pacing, fueling, and mental endurance.

AFTER YOU EARN IT

Patch Maintenance

ULTRA 225 is not finished. It is upheld.

After earning the patch, the responsibility is to maintain capability such that the standard could be met again at any time.

Patch holders maintain both strength and endurance. Letting one slide violates the standard.

We Do Not:

  • Soften the standards for age, weight, or circumstances

  • Accept substitute achievements as equivalent

  • Promise transformation in advance

  • Guarantee outcomes

We Believe:

  • Most adult males can achieve one or more of these standards over time with proper training

  • Honest pursuit of any of the standards is transformational

  • Constraints change tactics, not the standard

  • You're more capable than you think

The Reality

The standards are real. They are not adjusted for comfort. They are not negotiable.

They are also possible. Most adult males who train consistently, intelligently, and with ownership can meet these standards in months or years, depending on where they start.

Runners build strength. Lifters build endurance. Both become more capable.

The patch is exceptional because the standards don't change. The journey is accessible because you can.

The standards are fixed. Your path to them is flexible.
